The Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative (WCAI) and the Wharton Alternative Investments Initiative (WAII) invite Mr. Nobel Gulati, W’94, CEO, Two Sigma Advisers to campus on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Mr. Gulati has a strong and reputable background in leadership, investments and using data and analytics to make business decisions and will be sharing these insights and more with the Penn community during his visit.
About the Speaker:
Mr. Nobel Gulati serves as CEO of Two Sigma Advisers (TSA), which encompasses Two Sigma’s asset management division that provides solutions for institutional investors. Two Sigma has been a pioneer in data analytics and data engineering since 2001. Gulati oversees several corporate functions across Two Sigma, including strategy, financial planning, and investor relations. Prior to joining Two Sigma, Gulati worked at Citigroup as managing director in the global equities division and as head of ADR research and strategy in the global research division. He helped build Citigroup’s program, electronic and algorithmic trading businesses and was responsible for strategy and business development across global equities. Previously, he worked in equity research at ABN AMRO and NatWest. Gulati began his career with Raymond James, where he established the firm’s first Asian office, in India. He graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, as a Joseph Wharton Scholar, with a bachelor’s degree in international finance. Gulati serves on the Wharton Customer Analytics Executive Board.
