The Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative is excited to bring back this unique experiential learning opportunity for Penn students. The Analytics Accelerator Challenge will match selected students, working in teams, with companies to provide implementable solutions to their most pressing marketing and analytics problems.

Applications from interested students will be accepted through September 12th.  Students selected to participate will be notified by September 23rd  of  their company project, faculty mentor and other team members.

Who is Eligible?

The student application is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.  Ideal candidates will show a demonstrated interest in analytics and possess relevant skills ranging from project management, client relations to technical expertise.  Technical skills are not required, but are certainly a plus.

Most importantly, you must be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours/week for 4 weeks, (Oct. 1 – 31) and must be available on the following dates & times:

  • Friday, September 28 from 12-5pm – Initial meeting with WCAI
  • Monday, October 1 from 4-8pm – Project scoping calls with companies
  • Thursday, November 1 from 6-8:30 pm – Private Company Presentations
  • Friday, November 2 from 8am-12pm – Public Presentations and Analytics Summit

The Wharton Customer Analytics Initiative, the Wharton Analytics Club and the Wharton Undergraduate Data Analytics Club jointly run the Analytics Accelerator Challenge and the Wharton Analytics Fellows programs.  Students have the option to apply to either program.
